"Pasha"

My puppy loves…loves….loves the Valp Mini dry food that we were given for free at the Westbrook Village Farmers Market. My puppy is 5.5 months old and would only eat baby food and would not eat any dog food at all, until we got the sample of Husse Valp Mini. I thank you for making a healthy food my puppy loves. I am excited in trying your other products.

"Charlie"

Charlie joined our family in the spring of 2017. He was just a ball of fur with attachment is-sues meaning personal space became a thing of the past quickly. So of course, we fell in love with him! One of the reasons we wanted a Mini Aussie was because I wanted a dog that could go on runs and hikes with me without being a large breed because we lived in a small apartment. But as Charlie grew older and was becoming strong enough to go on runs with me I started to notice he was having stomach issues and we would have to constantly stop so he could do the duty if you get me. It wasn’t shocking for Charlie to stop up to 4 times with less then 20 minutes of run-ning. We took Charlie to the vet to see if there was anything we were doing wrong or anything else we could do to help with this issue. Our veterinarian told us we were doing everything right and the only suggestion was to change his food to a “sensitive stomach” type and he gave us a few options. We prided ourselves on doing the research to find the best food for his breed and went with that. But it didn’t work. As time went on it was apparent that due to his current stomach issues Charlie would not be able to be a running companion because it was kind of tough, not to mention awkward, running with multiple poop filled bags in your hand. We stuck to long walks and hikes where we could bring a backpack of some sort to stash the bags in instead and I just hoped he would eventually grow out of it. It was also during this time that we noticed Charlie was becom-ing a finicky eater. He would eat some of his serving, leaving the rest for later and sometimes not even finishing at all. We just figured he was going to be a light eater and would need extras to en-sure he was getting the nutrients he needed daily. Then in the summer of 2018 I went to a fran-chise fair and happened upon Husse. It seemed like an interesting business model to me but mostly I was interested in learning more about their food. I told them about some of Charlie issues and they gave me a sample of one of their foods for sensitive digestion for Charlie to try. Well Charlie didn’t like it, he LOVED it! I started giving it to him in small increments to see if he would take to it and to my surprise over the next few days Charlie started eating just the Husse food leaving most of his other food in the bowl. We decided after about 3 days to forgo the traditional slow conversion to a new food because Charlie had stopped eating the old food anyhow and was just eating the Husse. The very first time he got a full serving he gobbled it up immediately. I thought maybe it was just because it was new to him but meal after meal, it was a hit. After about a solid week of being exclusively on Husse we noticed something else. At the time just before switching to Husse, Charlie would have to go out at least 4 times a day due to his stomach issues, including days we went on our hikes where he would go multiple times. But now Charlie seemed more regular. I was worried at first thinking I wasn’t feeding him enough or maybe he was having another issue, but he acted fine and seemingly even had more energy. I thought to myself could it really be the food? The ultimate proof for me was going for a run. So, we got ourselves ready and went out. And guess what. Nothing, zero zilch! Charlie and I went out for a nice 30-minute run and other then us having to get used to running in a straight line and not tripping over the leash he didn’t have to stop! I couldn’t believe it! Something else amazing started to happen as well. Char-lie had always had a sort of bristly coat, but it appeared to be getting softer as time went on. He would always have that freshly groomed appearance even if he was due for his next bathing. We looked at pictures from just before starting on Husse to now and the difference in his coat is easy to see! Charlie has now been eating Husse for about 4 months and is still gobbling it up, rarely needing to “go” more than twice a day, and his coat is shining and beautiful! We are so happy that we found Husse and tell everyone we know they HAVE to try it. So, from the bottom of our hearts and Charlie’s stomach, thank you for what you do Husse! We have found the food that makes our fur baby healthy and happy and that’s all we could ask for!

"Lilly"

I’m a skeptic. Which makes it highly unlikely that I’ll try something new, especially when what I’m doing seems to be working just fine. When I met Samantha Borelli at the Estrella Mountain Farmer’s Market, I had no intention of switching Lilly’s dog food to Husse. My husband and I stopped to get her a treat, and starting chatting with Sam. I instantly liked her and felt a sense of trust regarding the information she shared. Lilly has always been a very healthy and active companion, the only real issue I could see was that her coat was a bit flaky. We decided to try Lilly on the Husse brand dog food, if we saw any positive changes in her coat (I was still doubtful), then we switch to Husse permanently. OH MY! I was so surprised to find after about 4 weeks the flakes were greatly reduced and eliminated after 2 months. Even with our daily swims over the summer, Lilly’s coat has remained flake free and much shinier. The other interesting thing we have noticed is that her waste is much smaller and firmer. Yep, I’m talking poop here! Previously, she had a tendency for a softer stool… now, she is using more of her food for fuel and I can see the difference in the “left over”. I’m a converted skeptic for sure!!!! Lilly is without a doubt healthier and she loves her Husse dog food and treats!!! Sam is an amazing advocate for pet health, drops off the dog food to our house (no kidding), and even offers a discount for military and retired military families! We appreciate her caring for our Lilly, regular check-ins to see how she is doing, and… keeping an eye on when we might need a new bag so that Lilly maintains her health gains. Thank you Sam and Husse!!! Lilly is a healthier dog because you care!
